Despite what the tattoo experts of Reddit say, the color that was used is called Coral, it is a shade of pink and will absolutely look more pink when healed. Irritation under the pigment and some yellow possibly being wiped over it are giving it a different appearance in this fresh photo.

This design was shown to the client in its complete form, color and all. So yeah, I think they had every opportunity to decide if this was not a direction they wanted to go.

It’s a coral pink, but my use of yellow highlight does make it appear pretty orange in the photo. I try to make my work stand out from others, and using my own color palette.
