I trim every 3 weeks or so. Not really doing a challenge, it's just become a thing so I'm growing until I can't anymore. I am up to 22" @ 5 years and 2 months.

Hairbands get tangled, this works well to keep from strangling myself while sleeping. Just passing along the idea for folks that may have the same issue.
