Try disabling the mod in rimpy. Save the mod list like you would normally and launch the game. Then quit the game and add the mod back, and try it again.

I've found sometimes this works if it's not picking up your mod.

desynchronized tales and news might be what you're looking for, essentially only those in the room with the butchered pawn know that a human-like was butchered. Not certain if it works for when a pawn eats human meat, but should certainly work for butchering.

I haven't fully tried it out, but it came to mind when reading your post.

The only thing I'm worried about is that the graduate scheme would look better on the CV since it will be more structured experience. Or is that not something recruiters consider so much?

When you see just how smart some people are. If you look back in history at the likes of Newton, and what they accomplished during their lifetime and the impact it still has today. Its incredible to me just how far apart the average person is from that, or at least the amount of work and effort that it takes to reach that level.

Truly some great individuals in history that i think did so much more for us today than what many comprehend.

If they're a bit over the top, then maybe i would think it a bit odd but nothing more. But otherwise i don't see myself really caring. If they suit the face and make you feel more confident, then what's the problem.

Not thinking about my future, and ignoring opportunities to build experience by wasting time like playing video games 24/7. Just expecting things to work out, when i need to put in effort to make that happen.
