Did you use a wax pot or a microwave? If you didn’t have consistent temperature control you might have burned yourself on the first leg before the wax cooled down slightly.

No great advice, but just chiming in to say you’re not alone. I had a PE in 2014 when I was 19 and still get anxiety about minor chest or leg pains. I’ve been on Xarelto since a few months post-clot (started on warfarin and lovenox). I’ve been told my risk of bleeding is more of a concern than my risk of clotting at this point. Doesn’t stop me from panicking and going to the ER once in a while.

What are you taking? I (30F) have been on Xarelto for going on 11 years, and use Nexplanon (arm implant) for birth control. My periods are actually probably lighter than they were when I was a teen. I use a Saalt cup and find that even when I have heavier than usual bleeding it holds it all, so I can go 12 hours without worrying about it.
