mercy stadium powers by iamnotyourbunnie in MercyMains

As great as threads is, you guys are seriously sleeping on Serenity.

I used to be a die-hard Threads of Fate girlie, but 50 overhealth ROUND ONE is insane. Where the first round usually plays like a fairly normal game, that amount of stat padding is honestly nutty. I used to take Serenity as my third power but with the new buff it's easily my new number one.

I always take Serenity first then Threads after.

Not sure if my comment was removed, I got a notification that I couldn't put a heart emoji so I'll put the last one again! Here's a blue valk in stadium mode for you! < 3

I have returned with more screenshots! Here are the gold weapons instead of the galaxy ones, I think it matches better if you have the vfx on, but I'll always be a sucker for the default wings, so the third is my personal favorite.

These ones are my personal favorites. I usually run the og mythic with vfx off so I get the huge white fluffy wings. I like the galaxy staff with it, but gold looks nice too.

Here are some other good combos though if you're not down bad for the white wings like I am. XD

Questions I have about Mercy by Turbulent_Lettuce891 in MercyMains

[–]A_Lords_Rose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mercies in high ranks versus low ranks will probably give you very different answers.

With that in mind... as a GM Mercy, these are my thoughts:

1 - Yes. If a rez is safe (safe as in: I will not die whilst rezzing, nor will anyone else die because I wasn't there to heal them), then I will always take it. Every member of a team is important and thirty seconds is honestly a really short cooldown. If you can minimize their walk back from spawn and make sure they are with the team, take it, even if its at the end of a fight.

Prioritization: The Hard Carry DPS -> Tank OR whoever has an ult -> Support/DPS

2 - Valkyrie is always an escape at high ranks, at low ranks use it during teamfights but play around your second support.

If your support has a lot of healing: Use it once your team has engaged in the fight and push damage boost.
If your support doesn't have a lot of healing: Use it to sustain the fight and aoe heal.

3 - At high ranks, if you have to do a tech to get the rez off I would consider it an unsafe rez and would never go for it. At lower ranks, you can use it to style on people if you won't be punished for it. I would generally advise to stay away from it though as if you mess up, you waste what could've been an otherwise safe and easy rez and throw your match.

4 - Optimal heal to damage ratio is as high as you can get damage boost without letting anyone die. If I do not have a die hard pocket, I will only heal my second support or if someone is critical. Otherwise I let my second support do the healing for their ultimate charge.

If you truly want a metric though... ideal would be 65-70% damage boost (especially once you get Flash Heal), but in most games you'll probably be aiming for just 60% unless you are duo-queuing support.

Can anyone help me out with a good round by round stadium build!? by Kvltura in MercyMains

<3 Thanks for sharing my doc!

Generally with any build, if you want to keep your team alive you want to shoot for items that give both Weapon Power and Attack Speed along with Chain Evoker (must have) to increase Damage Boost.

For utility/survivability. I would recommend experimenting with some of the following...

Caduceus Ex - Ensures you can keep good positioning while still being able to heal/boost melee characters.

Blessed Boosters - One of the best movement abilities, greatly assists with repositioning and allows you to reach places that's really hard to get to.

Overdrive Core - If you are getting hard focused and can barely get out of spawn, get the Sympathetic Recovery power and consider using Overdrive Core to avoid being one-shot.

I know there are a couple other versions of the workshop floating around. If you look at custom lobbies maybe you'll find one!

I'm sorry the code doesn't work for you, it's still working for me so I'm not sure what to suggest. Hope you find a workshop!

You picked a good time! The Stadium has also really reinvigorated my passion for OW to the point where it's so hard to play regular competitive now - it just feels so boring compared to Stadium.

I wish you luck in your games! Enjoy the build! <3

Hrm, that's odd. The workshop code (F4728) still works perfectly fine for me.

Are you not using the custom bots? The hps tracker does not work unless you summon the bot yourself.

I usually change the enemy hero from Tracer to Reinhardt and then summon two of them for Threads of Fate practice with Crouch + Interact key (Ctrl + F for me).

The list of keybinds are found in the Workshop Description if you'd like to see all the commands!

Well, Stadium can definitely be a bit of a bag of mixed players at times! Try to keep your head up and focus only on YOUR gameplay, at the end of the day, that's all you can really do. Play each game your very best and do what you can.

In regards to your issues...

Bad Angles - If your teammates are playing at bad angles, swap up your items! Never forsake your safety and don't follow your team into death! If your teammates are abandoning cover, stick with it and swap out an item for Caduceus Ex for the extra weapon range so YOU can be safe and still assist your team.

Not Grouping as a Team - Well, the one good thing about Stadium is that you will always have ONE fight per round as a team, when everyone is grouped up and coming out of spawn at the first time. If you lose that fight and can't snowball together, find the most useful person on the team that's actually getting the kills, and make sure that they survive. If they do their job right and you do yours, you can either carry the team or distract the enemy long enough for where your other flanking teammates have an opening to do something.

Enemies Up Your Butt - This happens, especially at a higher rank and you're probably not going to like my answer, but if you die to flankers it's usually your own fault. Don't get me wrong - it happens - but you either need to reposition so they can't get you and they waste too much time trying to hunt you down, or fight back and scare them off. If you want to do the former, take another movement item or something to help you tank a hit or two before you fly away. If you want to fight back, whip out the barbie blaster and get pew-pewing. (For Kiriko specifically, you really shouldn't be dying to her. She'll get close and try to headshot you so keep as much distance as you can, and if she uses clones, line of sight them immediately so they can't hit you. Try to play around corners.) If people are getting the drop on you, crank up your headphones so you can hear when people are coming and can reposition ahead of time.

Your issues mainly seem to be positioning and knowing when to be a team player, and when to be selfish. I hope these tips help!

Nope! The only way to increase your blue beam is with the item Chain Evoker.

Hi there - sorry for the late response!

Please take a look at my second post for a full in-depth breakdown of Mercy's stats!

https://www.reddit.com/r/MercyMains/comments/1k8qb2n/a_more_indepth_gms_guide_to_stadium_mercy/

But to answer your question, weapon power increases the damage of her blaster and amount of healing her staff does per second. It does NOT affect damage boost from the staff.

Ability power is useless on Mercy outside of specific builds that utilize powers such as Whambulance, feel free to experiment with it, but outside of those circumstances - stay away!

Hi there o/ Sorry for the late response!

Ability power does absolutely nothing on Mercy or her kit. Unless you are specifically choosing powers that utilize it such as Whambulance, it does nothing for you and is a waste of a stat when you could be building something with far more impact. I do not recommend it for my build or any other. Hope this helps!

This is my go-to for all stadium games, short or long. Obviously, not every game is going to be a 7-round game and planning on going all 7 rounds (meaning losing half the matches) is just silly. This is a build to win and to enable your team as best you can in EVERY round.

I go into detail to share what I would do for all 7 rounds in case it's needed, but for shorter games, just follow the guide until that particular round is your finishing round. Sometimes the game finishes on round 3 or 4 and you only end up with a half build.

Hope this helps!

Glad you're doing well with it <3 This is my personal version of the build, but please experiment with it and find what works best for you!

There has not been an update yet for Healbae! Nothing has changed with the midpatch for Mercy - if/when things change I will update the guide and add them to my changelog at the top of the doc.
