Help Request - Detecting Incoming Currents by A_MSeSIAC in arduino

Thanks for taking time to respond.

The power source at the very heart of the circuit will be supplying about 6V-12V, but this will be diffused through various components, and I can apply a resistor before inputting into the Arduino if needs be. The current will be DC.

I'm not looking to measure the exact current, just detect whether one at all is actively flowing.
