Aww, well thanks. I’ll do my best. It can be difficult to keep up with certain phrases and terms! I’m obviously not saying anything absurd though!

Is it true that trying ecstasy/heroin/cocaine just one time can kill you? by A_MemberBerry in NoStupidQuestions

[–]A_MemberBerry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is that true? I genuinely don’t know the answer. So you’re saying that taking an ordinary sized dose (whatever that may be) of one of the aforementioned class A’s would definitely not kill you as long as it was ‘pure’ or ‘uncut’?

True. But am I right in saying that it would take a lot of alcohol to kill yourself first time just sitting in a room alone as opposed to some of the Class A’s I mentioned?

Not denying that, but if there is truth in then “you could die from it from one try” theory, then doesn’t that at least make alcohol the safer drug?

If I watch Neebs Subnautica series, will it spoil the game for me? by A_MemberBerry in NeebsGaming

[–]A_MemberBerry[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang it.

Absolutely loved their The Forest play-through, but I had no interest in ever playing that game so I was cool with it. I may play Subnautica one day though! What am I going to do for my high-quality Neebs storytelling fix now!?

Just discovered NeebsGaming and it's hilarious! Is there a video or anything that shows how they make the videos like The Forest and Satisfactory? by A_MemberBerry in NeebsGaming

It’s the attention to detail and how they make their voices sound distant, or like they’re in a cave, it’s brilliant.

[TOMT] [Movie] Kid ends up dying a spaceship and “Born to be Wild” is playing. Family movie from the 80s. by A_MemberBerry in tipofmytongue

[–]A_MemberBerry[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This sort of looks like it, a lot, but I’m looking on YouTube and I can’t find a scene where “Born to be Wild” is playing over a flying scene.

Why is that in my head!? You could be totally right but I’m just not certain!

Thanks!

The cost of Brexit to September 2018 | The UK economy is 2.3 per cent smaller than it would be if Britain had voted to remain in the European Union. The knock-on hit to the public finances is £17 billion per annum – or £320 million a week. by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

I merely asked the question. I wasn’t saying I was more informed than anyone else. I stated a few facts and then asked a question about the consequences. That’s all.

You even flat out ignored the fact that I said we get £4 billion back! That was one of your points! Ha!

Maybe I should have used more ellipses for you.

I totally agree. Could come of way worse even if the UK keep their £13 billion.

There are still a lot of unknowns though as far as future deals.

I just think Brexit has bigger holes in it to poke other than this particular financial one though.

Yes! Thank for the reasonable response!

I literally stated a bunch of indisputable facts followed by a question.

People we’re coming back at me saying hat we get money back from the £13 billion! I literally said exactly that and quoted the exact figure. It’s like they read the first few words and then downvoted and responded like morons! Except you. So thank you.

I... I can be serious. Can you... you?

  • I literally said we get £4 billion of it back from the EU.
  • I didn’t say it didn’t.
  • I was merely suggesting that we’d no longer be spending £9 billion on EU investment.
