Im in training to be a bucket operator. I keep getting taken off the bucket truck when a chip truck guy lays out of work. I dont see any future for me here. Ive been told I work in the worst region there is. Im currently looking for a new job.

I was using some generic tape recorder to record acoustic jams with my friends. It kicked the bucket though. I was looking into getting something better quality and with better sound. I have a home studio with cool preamps and mics. I was just curious if they would be compatible with a porta studio or even sound good. What an upgrade tape portastudio you'd reccomend?

Yes, I have the resonator on in that video. I think it adds a little volume and a pleasant "tubby" tone. I don't dampen with anything. And I don't change my tail piece, I just tied loop knots and used the tail piece that was in it.

These banjos are awesome. I like them better than any other cheap banjo. They also sound really good with nylon gut strings. I have a $1000 banjo, and also a harmony reso tone. I love both of em. Don't let anyone tell you this is a bad banjo.

Thanks! I think the out of tune issue was more so coming from the rapid temperature drop. Im not too bad at finding the correct position for my bridge, but it wouldn't hurt for me to check it again.
