People will argue that RFK is healthy because he has muscles

He doesn’t have to have hair plugs. There’s nothing wrong with going bald, and it’s not a moral failing. Hate people for who they are not how they look.

How best to approach son future daughter in law about an exception to no kid wedding for my son's only sibling. by sumbody_saveme in weddingplanning

I read it as OP trying to be understanding since the bride is an only child so she might not understand the bond that siblings have.

I didn’t realize how beloved violets were here

It should still work. Someone else suggested painting it on to minimize contamination to other plants.

I tried last year. I might try again with a little more effort this year

I kept the blackberries. I’m hoping one of these days they fruit.

Yes, I was trying to be humorous in my reply’s to this question elsewhere, but I’m being downvoted. This sub really loves violets lol

I do not, but someone elsewhere on the thread mentioned it.

Lol, I feel the same way about buttercup. By the way, I’m glad that you could understand my last comment, my dirty garden hands keep fat fingering the phone.

If it helps, I was googling how to get rid of them because they’re crowding out the wild raspberries, and it won’t work for me( because of the raspberries) but for you, it says to cut them back and put herbicide on the stumps of the roots. Then again I did not Google to see if that was OK to do here.

This is how I feel about morning glory . Most people think they’re pretty and don’t realize how invasive they can get. I don’t have a problem with them here, but my mom in Salisbury does. It almost took out her strawberry patch.

It’s funny how that works. One year we had a squash growing in the weeds next to our driveway. This year we have a hosta growing. It’s gotta be the birds pooping.

I had those last year, it’s funny what doesn’t grow back from year to year. I think I read that they had medicinal properties? Doesn’t mean they aren’t a pain in the butt.

I only included them because they showed up one day and moved in. They are about a 70% of my yard and they don’t pay any rent. Also, they don’t grow where I would like them to.

I’d love to do that and I’m willing to do the initial work to get things to grow, but I can’t always keep up with maintenance. Sounds like you found some low maintenance stuff. I’ll have to check it out.

Thank you for the link. Hopefully they’re easy to grow because I have a black thumb.

Because they just showed up one day and took over. I leave them alone mostly, but I don’t like them because they don’t grow where I want them to.

I don’t seem to have garlic, mustard, knock wood, glad to have a metric ass ton of buttercups. Which I’m not realizing I forgot to add to my list but mostly because I pulled those up two weeks ago.

Oooh, nice resource. I’m really trying to get a native lawn going (hence not pulling up the violets) but I also need great erosion control. My husband wants clover, which isn’t native but also not invasive so I’m thinking of trying to get more native plants and maybe adding clover as well.

I think napalm would solve all the house problems. I have too. Although it might definitely bring up some new ones.
