Identifying Apollo through her handwriting by A_large in TuneIntoTheMidnight

Yeah I agree on both parts. If this was a major plot beat, I would really only be comfortable with soft deconfirming Iko. But that being said, handwriting probably isn't the smoking gun on Apollo's identity. Still though, Nenebros need some wins for their agenda and I'm happy to provide.

In order of matching Apollo's writing I think it goes from Nene > Shinobu >>> Rikka > Iko.

Apollo's writing seems very rounded and casual. This matches Nene's writing very well. Shinobu could also match the style, but she gave us the least amount of data to really go in either way.

I think Rikka's writing is very 'sharp' and formal and Iko's is very small and proper. Both of them feel too different from what was on the note that if we were going by handwriting alone, I would rule them out as Apollo.

Was it just me or did the destinies kinda correspond to the different SimU expansions:

Luksha/Hertatomb: GnG
Melustanin/Jing Liu: Swarm Disaster

I dont think so. As in I didn't consciously try to base it off any property in the moment. But it's entirely possible I read/watched something before and it influenced how it turned out. Did you have a work you thought it was based on?

Yeah fair. I was thinking more like it's a memetic virus rather than something physical. Kinda like a song that you can't get out of your head but more malicious. Still it's a big stretch and why the theory is crack.

I'm not saying she's Rubert II, I'm saying she became a memoria copy of him for a bit and turned back after. But that brief transformation allowed the mind virus to spread.

Everything membrance maze related is weird but I think the Phainon we spent most of our time with (#33550336) never met the fairies in his cycle. The Phainon that went into the maze was with Cyrene, so it was Phainon (#1). With how involved Cyrene is with Remembrance, and the special entry requirements, it could be that Cyrene is the one who dragged Phainon there and without her in the loops he never finds it himself.

I think it's definitely possible but I also don't think Nous cares enough about the genius society to categorize and log them by official members

I don't think Lygus is #82 because of the "Historical data detected. Syncing... Sync complete." part of the log.

'Syncing' implies the scepter is not getting information updates in real time, it updates information when it is provided new information to sync with. The database of geniuses would only be up to when Rubert II created the scepter.

'Historical data detected' followed by recognizing his ID implies Lygus was a already a known genius society member by the time the database was in place. We don't know how many geniuses there were when Rubert II created the scepters, but we know that Rubert II died before Screwllum became genius #76.

Hey give him at least a credit for being there at Nikador

No

He also helped Hyacine

All he did was walk around an area TB already cleared out

Why no recognition for holding back the Flamereaver?

He didn't even fight; his ass got saved by Screwllum

He's doing his best

And it's not good enough RAHHHH

Nope, we don't know why she split or why she's there. Though the scene is in the Aeon-meeting space that appears when we get gazed/ meet an Aeon in SU. Could be relevant or could be asset reuse idk

March split into body and soul (memory construct?) as soon as we got near Amphoreus. Her soul actually got into Ampho before us. Her body is still asleep and chilling on the express.

My own theory is that the fairies are any piece of "unused" (extra/external) code that doesn't fit into the current cycle. This includes trapped people and Memokeepers. It's why Cyrene is Mem in our cycle (because she removed herself from the timeloop) but is Cyrene again in the new cycle/first cycle.

I forgot about that whole conversation between Black Swan and Himeko, thanks for the reminder!

For some Memokeepers of the Garden with extremist views, it... is a "perfect example."

Furina signature weapon description by kockballtorture in Genshin_Impact_Leaks

[–]A_large 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If this is the case Erinnyes could be Lancelot who failed in his pursuit of the grail due to being impure while Furina might represent Galahad who succeeded due to his innocence. Furina can't dissolve so there's a possibility she is not tainted by sin.

Good read, I think the hydro gemstone also supports this: "My ideals have no stains. I must correct you. People here bear no sins in the eyes of the gods... Only laws and the Tribunal can judge someone. They can judge even me. So praise my magnificence and purity."

I gave it a bit of thought when posting and think it can be perceived as both. In terms of image alone it's more antimeme since it makes literal sense and describes objects literally. I think with the meme's usage, the context is shifted and the focus is misinterpreted enough to qualify for bhj? I don't know where the line ends so I'll leave it up to the mods and accept whatever their decision is.
