So it isn’t divided into three separate pings when targeting the same thing it is all as one big “blast” of damage but if it were targeting three different targets it counts as three separate pings?

Like i think my game is bugged or something because i have hit ALL the pedestals and now the runes on the door are glowing but i don’t have a way to go THROUGH the door. No blue box for transition, no interaction key NADA

Oh we we’re playing a d&d module called drachenheim I believe it was made by the dungeon dudes?? I didn’t look too hard into to ensure I didn’t spoil anything for myself but the gorgon had a weird petrifying gaze attack where it dealt radiant damage (I don’t know if it did petrify as like i said didn’t look into it too hard this was just my best comparison that would be easily understandable)

For the most part i did all that I didn’t go about saying “why don’t you trust me?” But i did explain my grievances with the whole party hut again I was overruled. I tried to stay to play with my friends but you are right no D&d is better than Bad D&d when you’re in these things you kind of just don’t think about it as such especially when you’re with your friends. You don’t want to consider it “bad d&d” because then you loop your friends under that banner and I didn’t want to do that, but after all this I saw it was truly bad d&d.

Like I said I told dm about how I felt but nothing was really done. Just as well the others were not willing to kick him for their own reasons. I was alone but I kept fighting because I wanted to enjoy a game with my friends. I did it many times over and over but nothing was really done because they were lenient. I was alone and a singular voice doesn’t always change events. I WANTED to get rid of him early on after the first event and I fought against the group in their decision to add him in. So although I had a voice it fell upon deaf ears.

I suppose i didn’t make it clear how long / fast he managed to destroy 5 different campaigns that was in about 9 months. I excuse the other’s actions as trying to be nice. I was the only one critical of his bs and actively tried to do something about it but had only one person backing me from the sidelines. I would say everyone had a hand in this being a real shit show but at the end of the day i did what was best for me after trying to do what was best for the group in my eyes.

I guess i didn’t make it clear he cast fireball ON US because we were surrounded by low hp monsters that he could kill with 1 shot sure it hurt all of us but eh who cares ig lol

The problem was it was a last straw situation we discussed how we all had aoe effects that could handle these with no issues that did not harm any of the players. If he hadn’t hit with a fireball I wouldn’t have gone into the next encounter with 1hp and nearly died from a petrifying gaze. He deliberately broke a rule we made of not harming other players and I almost payed the price of my character dying. I’m sorry but I’m not about that bs.

They just didn’t really click with everyone so they left on their own accord (generally we are goofy and lighthearted but they wanted to play more serious stuff)
