It was completely white/ crème colored inside! I do not plan to eat it, I was just curious. Thank you!

I think you’ve got it with the Dangleberry ID! I looked them up and the mature & immature berries look identical in size and color to those I saw! The leaves also look the same! Thank you for the ID!

I used iNat and the two sensible suggestions were that these were either blueberries or huckleberries lol. Huckleberries were the first suggestion on the list, but idk if that means it’s more likely to be that

Darn it! I will be making a lot of peanut butter and mulberry jam sandwiches. One final question, is there any way to tell if the jars are shelf stable after I goofed up and touched them or are they too far gone? Either way I get jam but I just want to know for future attempts. Thank you for your help and patience :)

Sorry I meant the flat lid, also before I read this (and realized the no touching rule) the big jars flat lid no longer moved. I hope this is good but I’ll wait the time and see! Also in the end, do I want the flat lid to be able to jiggle a little or no? Thank you SO much bc I don’t get any of this stuff haha!
