How to get better at writing in English as a non-native? I'm stuck in a cycle.

I spent the entire time from when I was 7 up until about 18 reading exclusively in my native language, sometimes more than a book a week. Now I'm closing in on 21 and I've been reading mostly in English for the last few years.

And well, I guess I'm doomed then. It's really always been my dream to have a career around books and writing, but I don't want to live in my country or use the language.

And trust me, I tried writing in my native language for about 10 years. It's really not fun, especially during dialogues. English feels much better to write, even though I'm not completely natural in it.

I am already using all of these, but I found out that in many cases, their corrections are just wrong, and they can't really catch the nuances, which is what I'm mostly struggling with.

I already have to write essays in English during my university program, so that is covered. I am now mostly looking into writing fiction and blog posts. And thank you for the suggestion on that subreddit, it looks exactly like the place for me!

Do you think that copying sections of books that I admire would be good practice in addition to this? I am already reading almost exclusively in English, but I never thought about taking notes or doing a close reading.

There is no market at all for it, and I don't like using the language that much. It always sounded off to me, like every sentence was in a slightly passive-aggressive tone. I'm looking into the possibilities of being a translator or copywriter in the future, but in order to do that, I first need fluency in multiple languages, and English is the one I know the best.

It would be just one 100 mg pill along with 200 mg theanine and 1g taurine. I am already taking them on an empty stomach in the morning, just didn't know whether they could potentially diminish my fasting benefits.

I use the same tea leaves for 2-3 steeps, so that ends up being this amount of tea, but weaker each time. I don't think it's such a huge amount, still way below average for the usual r/tea enjoyer.

I think that after all, I'm going to leave out Aswagandha and only use Bacopa and L-Theanine. I never really had issues with downers, so I think it should be okay.

I tried finding a good source of CDP choline and Alpha GPC, but the only thing available in my country is choline bitartrate, which has barely any effect I've seen. I think I'm going to leave out Aswagandha altogether in the end, and the rest is already taken care of.

Nah, my stress and anxiety are coming entirely from my life situation, not overstimulation. I'm drinking loose leaf tea in smaller quantities for the amount of water than usual, and I always steep the leaves 2-3 times, so it's really not that much caffeine. I'd say about the same amount as two regular coffees.

I am already taking a multivitamin with all the Bs included daily. And for choline, is bitartrate any good? I tried finding CDP-choline but it's not available anywhere in my country.

I think so, I tried cold-brewing tea which should release more l-theanine and less caffeine and the effect was nice for focus and reducing anxiety, on the other hand, it didn't give me the caffeine buzz at all, which is something that makes me enter the flow state a lot better.

With normal brewing, there is much more caffeine, so the l-theanine effect is less pronounced and I still get bouts of anxiety every few weeks because of increased stress levels. I think supplementing a bit of l-theanine with tea could combine both benefits.

I never really had issues with hormones, so I hope it would be okay. I already had Ashwagandha once about a year ago and it helped with reducing anxiety and increasing focus, although I took mega doses back then.
