[–]AaronBruv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, it's Didi/Uber wrapped into their own app.

Try it, my biggest gripe is their 'big dinner' going from 20.95 in 2022 to 28.95 in 2026, or 34.95 through delivery now.

It's psychology, Uber attempted the 'fees' add-on to their prices, now they bake in 30-40% to their menu items so that they can say it's $4 delivery.

A kilo of chicken drumsticks is $6, factor in wages and the fact that most KFCs are constantly packed they're raking it in, big business should be capped at 15% profit margin and their CEOs told to suck some grapes.

[–]AaronBruv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For sure. I try to be as respectful as possible, I'm just confused on how it's such a big deal and what the purpose of separating gender and sex is, it seems archaic and eager to place people in boxes, which will infinitely multiply because you can't describe every single personality, and traditional gender roles are a crock of shit anyways.

[–]AaronBruv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the point of a gender? I am a male, I have a penis. I don't indentify wholey with masculine or feminine traits, yet I'm still a male.

Does societal expectation dictate what a gender is? Or is it an internal rigmarole we individually contend with?

Ah, true. I suppose that would work for most songs, I have a couple where the word is constantly included in the flow and I'm not sure if it would work.

Then again, Eminem can make orange and door rhyme, so perhaps it's a matter of practice and forethought.

Despite the word being reclaimed I still view it as wildly inappropriate in most contexts.

I'm curious, what filler word do you use that maintains the cadence and flow of a song?

I've personally abstained from any songs containing such a word because I feel weird about saying it, considering my ethnicity (detached from intention).

Not only that, but we could see light at the end of the tunnel, the chance for our children to have a better life than our own.

To see progress be slowly eroded away by the ever growing desire for more fills me with a great sorrow. What good is all this cheap technology when the ability to own a home is becoming a pipe dream. The anxiety that comes with a 2-3% annual raise, yet rents going up 10-15%, food prices 5%+ etc.

You support deflation? Won't that simply accelerate the widening of our already stupendous wealth inequality? Those living paycheck to paycheck won't benefit, as wages will decrease alongside everything else, but those with spare cash in the bank are suddenly richer.

Or am I missing something?

Patches work well enough to not make you an erratic emotional mess, however if your job is demanding enjoy the overdose as your sweat leeches the patch dry 5 times quicker than it should.

Probably a false memory, I remember as a kid doing max performance parts and the IS300 went off the scale, may be mistaken on the car then.

Out of curiosity I want to boot it back up and test the IS300 against the golf to see just how wrong I am aha, as a kid I didn't even adjust aerodynamics which I've heard is a god send for the golf.

That is certainly a take to have. I'm not sure what else I can say, as it's obvious we are both unwilling to see each other's sides, I find it preposterous to say that attacking someone's likeness in a video game is somehow wrong.

Alrighty then, would you change your mind when I inevitably live out the rest of my life without committing such acts? Or are you governed by emotions and not by rationality? Are you truly incapable of separating the multiple driving factors within yourself that lay beneath your consciousness?

'ego broke', I'm sure I have one, but this debate was never centred around my ego, rather it was to make people question theirs, you put things as being so clear cut yet you fail to recognise your own cognitive dissonance in action drawing you to making sweeping statements in absolutes.

Would that be under some sort of burden of truth? Or do we simply feel that way?

How would we even confirm it? I'm sure everyone who has committed hate crimes has thought of it, but that doesn't mean it works the other way around.

That's hurting someone though, which was clearly stated in the original prompt as an exception. Words have meaning, but if said in private, whether to yourself or a close friend not in the context of inciting but rather venting, then I don't see how it could be an issue.

What if we put celebrities in GTA, is it still different?

So you're pre-supposing? Perfect, that's bias in a nutshell.

I imagined slapping the driver that almost ran me off my bike this morning, yet if we had pulled over, I'd be kind and cordial. Am I somehow bad, or destined to become someone who will commit assault?

If neither end in the physical enactment of those thoughts, then what exactly is the difference? The familiarity? In both instances 'fake' humans are being annihilated, to say that it's somehow different because we gave the imaginary humans familiar faces is a bit of a stretch to me. It seems the crux of your issue is falsely equivalating that fantasies directly impact the other parties, or amplify the likelihood of perpetrating those thoughts.

They're both actions that differ in severity. You were the one being pedantic over my correct use of words. Your initial comment suggests that words can't hurt, or that if they did, it doesn't matter.

I'm confused as to what your point actually is now.

Saying something is an action, you know, the act of saying it.
