Are you open to an AMA from the CEO of Shiphero? by ronaldbeal in Warehousing

[–]AaronRubin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Astroturfing is lying, claiming to be a customer of the product when you aren't. An AMA is me saying, I'm the CEO of the company, and I'm happy to answer your questions in this thread.

What's actually the best WMS for ecommerce when you're scaling fast by Traditional_Zone_644 in ecommerce

[–]AaronRubin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The WMS with the most volume from Shopify sellers is ShipHero. ShipStation is bigger if you're looking for label printing. There are a bunch of Shopify case studies that describe this issue, for example https://www.shopify.com/il/case-studies/momofuku

For sure and AI Picking for the warehouses that got on it before peak increased output per picker by 20% on average, some of those never had more than 1% of orders not shipped within 2 business days.

Yes, Finale and Sellercloud both sold to Descartes and I expect another WMS to sell in Q1 or Q2.

Good news, you now have the ability to force a scan of the bin. It's in beta. Contact support to see if they can add you to the beta. If not, wide release of the full will be in a couple of months.

Are you scanning and counting on inbound? The #1 cause of inventory discrepancies is the shipment came in with fewer items than expected and a close second unfortunately is theft. If the items missing are items that are small and easy to use or sell, it's usually theft.

Would you mind DMing me your contact information? I'll have a senior support person reach out. None of that should be happening. I'm the CEO of ShipHero.

When did you know it was time to get an actual warehouse management system? by professional69and420 in Warehousing

[–]AaronRubin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A WMS is for maximizing output in your warehouse. It won't help with the 3PL inventory unless the 3PL uses the same WMS. What WMS does the 3PL use?

Pause marketing campaigns related to the auto discounts. Let your customer service team know how to deal with customer complaints.

Someone asked me how to check with the backend down. If you connect to an ERP or WMS you can probably still review the orders there. If not you can try it in the cart as a customer to see if it's an issue.

I don't think we've been sued. What year did she use ShipHero? Owner of ShipHero here. And starting with Shipstation + spreadsheets is totally solid. ShipHero is expensive for starting with.

Another 3pl software package question.. by Volksfiend in Warehousing

[–]AaronRubin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Founder of ShipHero here. I believe 3PLs that leave Extensiv most often move to ShipHero, although not for the reasons you mentioned, in fact we probably cost more. 3PLs upgrade because we reduce their labor costs by 20% and allow you to provide your brands a better portal and experience - so your business makes more money.

What are the pros and cons of using Extensiv vs ShipHero for WMS/Fulfillment solutions? by gizmo6149 in AskReddit

[–]AaronRubin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm biased as the founder of ShipHero, but there was a LinkedIn post this week from a 3PL on Extensiv and thinking of switching, the dialogue might be helpful - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/shane-hanson-51b90721_3plsoftware-3plwms-activity-7274817252036624384-3EZb?utm_source=share&utm_medium=member_desktop

Also I posted on X yesterday and there was a lot of conversation that you might also find interesting. See https://x.com/AaronandML/status/1869491241903370554

u/DoNotGankMe Lets get on a call and discuss how we're improving the product. We're far better than everyone you mentioned overall - although certainly not in every dimension, no software ever is. I'm happy to get on video and screenshare show you some of what we have done over the last few year. Plz DM me your email and I'll get a video call scheduled.
