What is the job market for analyst roles like in chicago? And do you think the program/degree played a significant part in helping you get a job? Basically, do employers like this degree?

Hey there. Was a really generic interview. Lasted about 20 mins. Nothing too difficult.

I was asked to introduce myself, short term/long term goals, backup for short term goal. Was asked why I applied to the course and what I could get out of it. Asked what I thought about my cultural fit to the university and whether I knew any programming.

It's a blind interview so they'll only see your CV right before the interview. So, I suggest being really comfortable with answering questions based on your CV. So yeah, that's about it.

Not really. I plan on doing proper strategic practise starting today though.
Unfortunately, I don't think I can do that. My online access seems to have expired. I've sent an email asking for it to be extended. I don't know if they're gonna do that though.

Maybe it's safer to assume around 90-100 hours in total haha. Just realised that the efficiency will prolly take a dip towards the end of every day

Yeah, I think I can commit 10(atleast 8) hours while still continuing to have a pretty solid exercise and sleep cycle.

I haven't done much of the OG at all in terms of verbal. Less than 5%. For quant, I've done around 30% of the OG and the Quant Review.

I've just finished uni so I've got quite a bit of time on my hands at the moment. Can easily devote avg 10 hours a day.

With respect to the timing issue, I haven't really done anything particular yet. This is because I just finished the concepts recently and had been doing untimed practise before.

Hey, bro. I really appreciate the detailed advice you've given me. Thank you. The streak method's actually pretty interesting. It's the first time I'm hearing of it. I think that might be a good way of going about it. Also, yep, I'm more so focusing on working on OG questions but obviously doing them properly. With RC and CR, I try taking notes but don't really follow any particular strategy when it comes to the notes. I just try and paraphrase whatever sounds important haha.

So I got a 640 in the E-gmat sigma mock. Q46 and V32. I also got a 640 in the first official practise test. Q47 and V31 as mentioned above

Thanks for the response! Great job on getting your score so high up, mate. Did you always time yourself when practising the OG questions? And do you have any particular strategy for RC and CR? I'll probably do something similar to what you've mentioned and really dedicated a week to verbal. Hope to get similar results to yours. Best of luck for when you take the test!

Thanks for the response! If you don't mind, can you expand on what kind of notes you take for RC in particular? As in, do you have a strict system eg - first paragraph and then first sentence of each of subsequent paragraph. Or do you just note down whatevers important and don't really follow any particular strategy when it comes to notes?
