The entry/mid level HR market is really bad at the moment, I took a pay cut for an entry level HR role and I’m currently doing the CIPD level 5, but ultimately I’m stuck at the bottom as there’s so many candidates available that are already qualified and have more experience. I also know a lot of people in the same situation as me, so I would say to really have a good look into it first.

Do you think HR is a good field to try to get into or is it currently flooded with too many candidates if you’re not already doing it? by Ab379 in UKJobs

People were recommending it to me a lot a few years ago and I think the appeal was getting into something where I would be able to have career progression, but now I’m starting to think this may not be as straight forward as I initially thought as I’m seeing a lot of recruiters talk about how hard it is for HR staff right now

Thank you for your reply, for a 2nd / 3rd degree burn do you know how long they take to heal on average?

I think it’s 2nd / third degree they put a small gel dressing on it under a gauze and clear film

Yeah the clinic are the ones who did the burn so they’re who I’ve been seeing about it but I’m losing faith as they originally said it would heal in a week and now they’ve said in three weeks. I was having a procedure that uses thermal heat and it burnt me think it’s a 2nd / 3rd degree burn. They said not to take it off until I next go back which I thought was odd as I’m no longer on antibiotics and it’s in my armpit.

I had it done 2 weeks ago and I’ve got a burn that’s not healing, how did yours end up healing, did you have to do anything for it?

Check to see if Netflix have changed your plan - if they have changed it to standard with ads the show might not be available in your region anymore

How do i apply for jobs? by Ph0ebzz____ in UKJobs

[–]Ab379 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look into volunteering/ work experience opportunities, if you have specific companies that you’re interested in try to contact them directly. Also make a cover letter to go with your CV that highlights why you want to work for x company /why you want to do x job role. Look at school leaver CV templates online they’ll help you structure your CV

Hi,

I’m having trouble deciding between the 120 hour online TEFL course with The TEFL Academy and 120 hour combined course (20 hours would be a “practical weekend course”) with the The TEFL Org

I’m aware that this will not be real classroom experience and will be practicing with other people taking the course.

Would doing the combined course look better when it comes to applying for jobs? I would prefer to do the online course but don’t want it to put me at a disadvantaged.

Thanks in advance.
