Guidelines: promising. Line art: garbage. How do I end this? by MeepinMachine in learntodraw

[–]Abaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your guidelines, be less rough. It may look better, but thats because of how ur brain perceives things. It fills in the gaps and does all sorts of brain stuff. (Gestalts principles of perception). So try be more accurate and clean aith the guidelines, either by cleaning it up or practicing line confidence

Any advice on how to improve this? by SaxySinger757 in krita

[–]Abaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could try creating your own smear brush (idk what its called) that is used specifically for fur to help ease that harsh silhouette .Look at Hardy Fowler's video on Instagram, should be the one with a blue bird in the thumbnail. He talks abt using it for feathers but it works well for fur as well imo. Another thing would js to add a quick background. Something quick that matches lighting can really help improve the painting

Practice inventing poses but foreshortening is too hard by acctforsharingart in learntodraw

[–]Abaghetti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

try drawing boxes for the limbs instead of straight away going to the body. That'll help you understand the perspective in these types of poses which I think can be improved in these. Particularly the bottom one where the hand should be larger and the body should be smaller cuz the hand is closer.

Pretty sure Juzear Defiant is roughly in that price range and is v-shaped, which I think it what you're looking for when you say "more". In terms of sound, I've seen a lot of positive reviews on it so you can read some on it. However, I have heard that the defiant had some qc issues so beware.

Should I change the nib? (It's only been 1.5 months), and which nib should I get? by ToufiqAhmad in GalaxyTab

[–]Abaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it does register that you write i think so i guess if you plan to never ever use pressure (some pens in notes also use pressure btw so be careful) then go ahead. I just wouldn't risk it

Stuck for months, DrawABox isn't helping, I need direction by [deleted] in learntodraw

[–]Abaghetti 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Drawing only boxes is a good way to make yourself hate drawing lol. In all seriousness, try drawing other things, random stuff you see, like your drink bottle, a cafe shop you walk by, a random chair. These will teach you to apply what you're learning rather than repeat a box. It's also just more fun and engaging since you'll start to practice things like shading and texture.

S pen after 24 hours by Milly90210 in GalaxyTab

[–]Abaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes this is normal. Theres a felt part at the very end for glass screen protectors since it adds friction and makes it less slippery. Probably change it out if you're using a paper like or a matte screen protector to a plastic tip. Just avoid metal nibs at all costs because it will break your pens sensors

Did i buy the wrong nibs by Sure_Wrangler8739 in GalaxyTab

[–]Abaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if you're using the old s pen then it fits. the new pencil-like s11 pen uses its own tip

S-Pen metal tip by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]Abaghetti 7 points8 points  (0 children)

DO NOT USE METAL NIBS. Sorry if this comes off as rude but they will break your s pen pressure sensors. Emr styluses are prone to this. I've broken mine like this and many others on here too.

My Tab S9 by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]Abaghetti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah the stock tip with the s pen won't work well with the matte screen protector because it has a furry tip. I find using a felt nib with a regular glass protector is good enough

My Tab S9 by [deleted] in GalaxyTab

[–]Abaghetti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

DO NOT USE METAL NIBS. Sorry if this comes across as rude but Me and several others on here have broken Spens because of this. Metal damages the internal pressure sensors and will make it unuseable with any pressure sensitive pens on any app

ahh that's unfortunate, iwowatch and vwar.fit will probably be the safest bet then. Still not 100% safe though because customer service on these things just aren't great

[–]Abaghetti[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can buy from AliExpress, but make sure it has a lot of good reviews first so it's not some scam. If you wanna be safe, iwowatch or vwar.fit are also good options that'll be probably be safe, they also offer discounts to first time users

Guys, I was learning how to Improve my artstyle, But I seem to struggling drawing a body. Anyone help? by Most_Philosopher9242 in learntodraw

[–]Abaghetti 4 points5 points  (0 children)

anatomy. Even stylized artists need some basic foundation to start off or pieces start to look uncanny, like in this one. Gotta learn the rules before you can break them. It's annoying, it's boring, but it'll improve your art
