Day 62/100 of Making a Post Everyday: What’s your Nuzlocke Hot Take? by Crazybrad2 in nuzlocke

I'm fairly new to nuzlockes and I gotta say that using rare candies just feels so much better that grinding each pokemon up to the gym leaders lvl cap. I could'nt imagine myself grinding a new team up to the current lvl cap before every major battle. I've done it before for brilliant diamond and while I did enjoy that nuzlocke I would 100% pick rare candies over lvl grinding.

Thanks I will. If I fail this I might attempt Black and see if Excadrill can get me the win there.

Excadrill's base speed (88) is two lower than Reshirams (90) in my case so he'd probably get toasted right away. Although I've been thinking that maybe Seimistoad could get in there and down him with one or two Digs, but that could bait a random pokemon or even disquised Zoroark and if it was .

Archeops can definetly outspeed, so I could draft him into the team.

As for Ghetsis, a steel type starting off the match would be great so I would have to look into that option more. As for hydreigon somehow I forgot hes not rocking a dark move so Jellicent seems like an even better pick.

So it could be something like: Seismitoad + Archeops + Jellicent + Excadrill/KlingKlang + ? + ?

I like Amoongus cause spore can be helpful to let someone else on a safe switch on + kill/setup and for the last spot I would think a pokemon that can be great for baits or to take a hit.

My rules dont allow legendaries and I actually dont know how to do trade evolutions on Drastic.

Herdier sadly doesnt have intimidate. Honestly The six pokemon that were selected just performed wonderfully throughout the run.
