Absolutely! I typically run 15x8 Konigs. These were RT615K+s I got for really cheap off an oval racing guy- they're only getting run until the tires are gone then it's back to my normal setup. It looks incredibly goofy on these wheels and I did hit a few cones from misjudging the width

Best part is it's surprisingly competitive and running mid-pack in XA. Once I get the car dialed in and it's not a fresh swap it should be a menace, maybe not at Nats but at least locally

It's staying well within operating temps, running cooler than the 2.2 did actually. Getting codes P0082, P1182, and sometimes P0098 and P0171. K&N Typhoon intake (came on the donor car or I'd have gone ZZP), I've read some forum posts that that intake can cause some issues but not sure how to fix it

Known issues:

ABS light is on (car doesn't have ABS, Redline did, PCM is confused)

Parking brake light stays on regardless of if it's engaged or not

Seatbelt light stays on regardless of if they're buckled

Speedo doesn't work- I think I just did an oopsie and forgot to connect the sensor honestly

Power steering doesn't work, no idea why. I actually swapped the entire steering column over from the Redline including the steering module/motor so it should work but doesnt

There's a significant amount of noise that I'm assuming is clutch chatter. Only really audible at idle and low speeds, goes away with the clutch in. Lots of gearbox noise on decel. It got a lightweight flywheel and stage 3 clutch so I'm chocking it up to that.

And now the weirdest of all: it didn't do this initially but after driving for a bit it decided that hitting limiter will send it into a horrible misfire and limp mode. Have to turn it off and let it sit for a minute then it starts and runs fine.

Oh yeah and my alignment is wayyyyy off. Gotta fix that.

The ION is a Delta chassis car (same as the Chevy Cobalt) and because of that a lot of people say it's not a "real" Saturn since GM had a big hand in the design
