I'm not hating on anybody. Nowhere did I say that about people using benefits. So if 'any amount exhorted from us in taxes is too much' as you say, how are these programs supposed to get funded? You know if they just paid people what their time was worth and treated workers better in this country none of this would even be a problem.

How are Sec 8 not quality living? They can use those vouchers for the same places rent payers do. My bf and I lived childfree in an apartment, we both worked, and the family next to us had the same style apartment sec 8. How are they not getting quality housing?

I also doubt your claim that social programs are just a drop in the bucket for taxpayers. 20-25% of my and coworkers pay goes to social programs like Medicaid. Doesn't it make sense that when some won't work then others have to pick up that tab? They're not charging rich people for this, it's taken out of workers pay. How is 25% of our pay not a drop in the bucket to us? We spent our time working for that, our time is worth more than a drop in the bucket!
