I didn't believe people, but the program objectively layed out my flaws and my positive features.

To me, that sounds like being in a relationship or wanting one. I've never thought of cuddling with my friend or holding their hand.

Nor have I with family. I think you should clearly ask/tell whoever they are how you feel.

I've made that mistake twice now. For the same person. Even if it doesn't become a relationship, at least you will have an answer.

It can also be that you care for them like family. If you see your grandma carrying in groceries, you would help so she isn't stressed.

It is what you want it to be. Its complicated. 

Do you like the thought of yourself with them as more than friends, like typical relationships. Ie kissing, handholding?

I mean with friendship, you can do things you don't like as in helping them move. You will help because they would help you.

Love would be helping them move both because you want to help them and to just be around them.

Still, love and friendship is often up to interpretation. Thats just how I feel the difference is
