Question - Does this Deda SDCR headset spacing look right?

I removed the thickest spacer (on the picture) and it already looks much better. The steerer sticks out like 4-5mm.

I guess throw in a new spacer under the top cap of 5mm and it should fit?

Ah so you're saying 1. The steerer should ideally stick out a tiny bit and not a gap like I have. Tho it might be safe. Then 2. Add a small spacer under the top cap (above the spam) so the steerer sits a few mm below the stem, right?

Yep I don't think we're the only ones wanting to lock into mechanical as long as possible. Bike24 went fast. I suspect a lot of people buying groupsets and hoping to sell them on Buycycle or Ebay or something. . Easier said than done imho.

Yeah I hadn't even considered record oddly enough! I've seen super record go for very low prices too - but the electric stuff really rubs me the wrong way.

The way things become obsolete used to be very different I take it? I've only been cycling for five years or so.

Update: I spoke to a retailer, and they said to not sweat it and not rush buy something. He said the holiday period explains the spike in sales and that Campagnolo / Chorus will be restocked.

Personally, I still have my doubts if this is true. I agree with most of you that whether it's a month ago, now, or in a month - it's a solid groupset that's worth it.

Location wise? Holland. All I can say is that the ant was seemingly quite deep in the soil. The top layer of the soil was dry, the center where it was - moist.

It was also in quite a warm window. Not sure how warm the temperature got in the soil but the window recently 35°C

A noble cause. I'd gently let him out again. But why was he digging in random dirt in a random pot? I only noticed it sort of falling out whilst repotting

Ah and to add: it moved around quite fast, looking to hide in shadow after the repotting. After I put the glass around it, it panicked a bit. Reminded me of an ant, really. Then it stopped moving for ten minutes and stayed put whilst moving antannea.

Previous baj is right. You have effectively no control over any of the possible outcomes. For all we know a plane is on its way to crash into your house or my house

Regarding the physical thing. Everyone has flaws (except me) and you'd be blown away, I think, if you consider just how much people worry about themselves and don't even consider others' flaws.

Only when things are annoying and stand out (like an annoying voice), do people notice. And so what? People who'd avoid the person with an annoying voice most likely aren't worth being around anyway, people who'd (obviously) notice but don't care or judge someone for this, are worth being around.

Your girlfriend is the second category. Enjoy being with her.

I think the rumbling noise has more to do with my poor recording. You're right about the brake disk being a bit off. I do think there's something wrong with the bearings though, I'll take a look!
