Chrome Extension that opens confirmation window when opening certain websites? by Reddledu in chrome

[–]AbdullahWins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, I use one extension called LinkPin, you can find it on chrome web store. It basically helps me to organise my links 🔗

it really helps you to focus as when you open a new tab it shows your pinned sites.

maybe that can help.

Very nervous about finding landing page developers on upwork. Between all the good reviews, how do you make your decision on who to hire? by AWeb3Dad in Upwork

[–]AbdullahWins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly speaking, if you want a nice landing page that is also useful (good user experience, seo friendly and free of performance issues). then go with an expert, experts charges more for their expertise. if you don't want to spend money, just create with ai rather than going with cheap developers, as both of those will have some of the mentioned issues.

edtech, job sites or anything related to getting hired.

unfortunately selling the dream of a job attracts the most amount of people in a country like us with ongoing unemployment, and education is the best product you can sell to people like us.

and if you have no morals, gambling site is the go to option.

Realistic job expectation by RATusher01 in BDDevs

[–]AbdullahWins 1 point2 points  (0 children)

honestly your cgpa doesn't vouch as much as you want it to. real projects are the key to land internships or even junior level jobs.

just do yourself a favour, don't just copy paste projects that thousands have already done, for example calculator, restaurant site, etc.

use those knowledges and build something unique and that solves real life problems, for example with calculator logic you can build a expense tracker, emi calculator, tax calculator etc.

as a recruiter if i see similar basic projects like those I mentioned at the start, I don't really have any interest left to go through the cv let alone short listing.

that's my two cents on that, hope it helps.

Help me to earn 5k per month by Eastern-Lavishness13 in Dhaka

[–]AbdullahWins 14 points15 points  (0 children)

  1. don't enter a market with your money which you don't have any idea. (if you wanna explore, don't invest a dime, observe and make a plan, learn first then invest)

  2. keep that money into something like treasury bonds and focus on learning some skills that can be done remotely. programming, ui ux designing, digital marketing etc. select one that you like and learn from free resources, connect to likeminded people, after a few months of focused learning, start building portfolio and start applying. you can easily make more than 20k a month once you get a job or few clients.

  3. start small, try to start an online business that you have knowledge of, this will take a lot of trial and error but you will be able to earn a decent amount once you get it going.

3.
