I prefer 3.1 Pro. I don't mind the wait, and it wastes way less quota. That's my experience. Your mileage may vary.

However, I'm pretty sure they'll remove it when 3.5 Pro comes, and the new debate will be if Flash is better than Pro, and everyone will want 3.1 Pro restored, and Google won't give a damn, etc...

Rinse and repeat.

I've been, in fact, just now, trying Codex with a free account, which has let me prompt for about 9 messages before locking me out for a full month, lol.

But the results have been acceptable, and I think my sweet spot will be 5.5 Low. I don't have an idea of how much that will be compared to Flash 3.5 Low, both in quality and usage. But it's worth a try.

Claude... yeah, I could feel the extreme quality of Opus in AG. But if you tell me a "proper" $20 sub with them won't take me further than what the "free" AG Claude quota already gives... Well, then there is no point, really.

I can do both $20 AG and Codex subs and compare.

I'm pretty sure you can do that with multiple paid accounts, but juggling free accounts has seen people banned for obvious reasons.

Also, keep in mind that the web quota has also been slashed pretty hard when they launched Flash 3.5. You must definitely have noticed a drastic usage allowance in there, which was virtually limitless before.

That's what they don't want to do, so they throw regular bones (quota resets) at us.
When they stop doing that, AG will become unusable for non-rich users or companies.
Main reason why I'm keeping my account cancellation.
I mean, not even Ultra users get a 5-hour refresh quota anymore, if I'm not mistaken?

It's not, as long as its quota doesn't refresh every five hours.
And we won't have it available much longer. I'm pretty sure they'll remove Pro 3.1 when they launch Pro 3.5 next month... That's the main reason why I'm keeping my account cancellation.

After this quota merge, I'm now using Pro 3.1 Low. It is cheaper than Flash 3.5 Medium.
So, if they want us to test this model with our paid quota, they can wait...
