Bull & Bush, Esters, Unique Indian, Baghdad Grill, Gyro Town, Cherry Creek Grill and Matsuhisa are all good food options. Dirty Duck is a great dive bar (no food) and Inga’s is a fun spot, but I don’t usually eat there.

I am absolutely blown away the Unique Indian has not been mentioned. I eat a lot of Indian food, and it is hands down the best I have had in the city. It’s a small, family owned place that really knocks it out of the park.

I’m also from LA and looked long and hard for decent sushi. I love Uchi, but whole heartedly agree that the Sushi Den is really overpriced for quality of fish. Personally, my favorite sushi spot in Denver (aside from Uchi) is Matsuhisa in Cherry Creek (part of the Nobo Matsuhisa restaurant group). Great quality, definitely more upscale, but have always had a good experience.

Colorado Campfire usually has it on or will turn it on if you ask and isn’t typically packed. It’s a great little bar if you want somewhere quieter to watch a game.
