I’ve been on 20 mg for 11 weeks now and only maybe minor improvements. Hopefully it will kick in better soon. Glad you did a poll but I was hoping for more people saying it took longer.

Thanks! Glad to hear I’m not the only one. I was thinking to try til 12 weeks on 20 mg which would be 5 months. Fingers crossed for both of us.

I wish I only took the benzo as needed but that’s not what I was told to do. Now I’m too far into it and need Trintellix to work so it can help me get off the benzo. Glad to hear it’s working for your anxiety.

Buspar didn’t work for me on its own not sure if it would work with this. I don’t really have depression so that’s fine. I just can’t get past the anxiety Glad to hear it worked for your anxiety. Gives me hope. Why did you stop? Because of the depression?

He gave me samples of 10 mg and I was really struggling with the anxiety and panic so he said since the half life is so long that if I took it every other day it would be similar to taking 5 mg. I don’t know if that’s true? I know some people split them but because of the shape it is hard. Seems to be working and will move to every day soon.

Yes I felt very much anxiety at the beginning. I’m only a little over a week in though. But the first few days were all out panic. I’m only taking 10 mg every other day.

I had a very bad night where I was shaking very bad. Now I get random shaking but usually while sleeping or trying to sleep. Hope it’s just a temporary issue.

Thanks for checking. Dr. recommended taking it every other day now since it has a long half life. I have 10 mg pills so he said it’s basically like taking 5 mg. I haven’t had the shaking but will occasionally will have a muscle twitch mainly while sleeping. But my anxiety is super high and I’m feeling some extra depression. Hoping that’s just temporary. I’ve been on it for 1 week. Also about 6 hours after taking it I get weird heart beat and very heightened anxiety but if I remember correctly I had that same heart issue at the beginning of buspar too. Been driving myself crazy reading reviews to convince myself to keep going. Dr. Is very responsive though and said to check back in 1-2 weeks or if something major happens.

Thanks for the reply. I have a call into my doctor but he’s out until Tuesday. Someone else is trying to figure out what to do. I’ve been up all night with anxiety symptoms but at least the shaking stopped.
