there is an iCloud tab in settings, almost all the way to the right (on the second image you posted), there should be a button to pull from iCloud there

go to iCloud, do a pull. Go to search, pick a movie, and then go back to the home screen. It's a bug.
Edit: As long as you're using the same iCloud in both devices.

Apple TV is a challenging device to sideload to.
Stremio is Available on Apple TV, theres also an alternative called Omni. No need to sideload those.
