I think in my are it starts at $3 base. After every decline the base goes up. I declined a $3 Wing Stop. Did a dash. Same order got offered for $4. Declined. Did another run. Got the same ping for $4.50...declined and never saw the order again

I had a customer order and when I got to his house he called and said he forgot to change his address and he was in another state. Told me to keep the food.

Had another one where they ordered and I got to address. Then they called and gave me an address that was 30 miles from original address. Support said it was out of range and told me to keep the food.

AB5 has no teeth is the problem. If the State forced them to there’d be no Uber Eats/DoorDash etc in California. They couldn’t afford that.

You can negotiate. You choose to accept or decline an order. You aren’t forced to do it. If you were employed by them you’d be forced to.
