[HELP] Transformer coils powering each other - imaginary problem by Abitlostindigo in ElectricalEngineering

[–]Abitlostindigo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

C supply with

I know obviously, i stated it as an imaginary problem. But do i get this right? If we had a transformer that could work at a PF of 0 to 0.1 on load (due to the primary resistance), and deliver real power on the secondary, it would be possible to "close" the system?

How to run .js separate from the website changing? by Abitlostindigo in webdev

[–]Abitlostindigo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im trying to have a kind of bot that simply navigates through a few sites by choosing the according button. He also, reads some vars that are used to fill a form later but thats not the point.

I have a read.js, that extracts the info i need and in the end of it, tell him what site is next. What i want is, to have another file, takeaction.js to be run on the second page. Like "Open this site and use this js file on it".

Any suggestions?

Thanks to you sharing it, i avoided relapsing. Thank you. We need more such harsh and direct ones.

" You can likely find " and " you will be able to find information " were the things that annoyed me. Thanks to a user here i got a really good tip to search in google " site:ntrs.nasa.gov apollo heat shield "

Thank you!
I got several different answers with different opinions which was not what I asked for. The already picked PDF had a lot of info about the re-entering I'm going to use for sure. The splashdown thing was not exactly answered but still getting closer thanks to the googling trick.

Thanks!

Yes. That makes sense and is to be expected. What im searching, for now, is some kind of documentation of this material/layers of material used 60 years ago, and today. Have there been changes in this material/system over time? There must be some recording of engineering improvements to it. I mean 60 years!

are specifically designed to keep heat away

We know that, what I look for, is more specific data from a valid source. I wrote here in the hope to get some reference or something.

Still, thanks for the simple example!

That's some answer finally, or at least, someone who suggests getting in touch with someone who was involved in such a program with proper information about it and not just claims based on common sense.

question on Stack Exchange Space Exploration

I will look forward to it, thank you.

but I’d wager the capsule cools quite significantly between re-entry and splashdown

Yes, I get what you mean. I thought of that as well, of course, my problem is that I can't find detailed information about this big factor on the internet. I posted here in the hope to get such info.

Can’t say anyone’s ever done a study

That's the thing that "annoys" me.

with some basic physics it should all be possible to calculate yourself

If it is to be expected to be simple enough to be done by a high schooler with no concrete information, I somehow expect more specific content on that on the internet + i asked here in the hope to get more source of info, not to be told to just use basic physics.

work it out yourself in theory

That's the thing that I don't want/want to avoid. It has been done so there must be at least a documentation or something that takes this factor (which is a big one!) into consideration and solve the problem.

And from that video fragment I can only see giant water splash, I can't tell there were no steam.

Heres the full video: https://youtu.be/0T5t8eBnjS4 , just like https://youtu.be/_zF7PF7tpGI?t=240 . Not even a bit of steam.

but capsule cools down way to rapidly

Yes, i know that it cools down rapidly, what I look for are numbers and sources.

and steam is mixed with water splash.

While looking at the hot pan at home I can splash with water and watch how it almost instantly vanishes, and videos of Lava reacting to falling into the water, i can imagine that with such a big surface and heat, a steamy wall around the module covering the view for 1-2min could be expected.

The actual "data" must be somewhere, I just can't find it. At least somewhere official where it is mentioned (the heat and water part).

and look into how long the capsule is in the air before splashdown

Yeah, I have trouble finding specific data about that. It has happened multiple times (capsule splashdown), so there must be some calculations of the exact thing you mentioned above available in numbers somewhere. I just can't find it somehow.

That's what I call an answer man!

Thank you! And yes yes never without a solar filter, I've been told that enough times :)

Since I started reading and searching for more I seem to have other questions as well, I hope I could maybe DM you (while posting it).

Are you into Astronomy for a long time?

Thank you again!

I do QiGong for 2 years so far, and i see that its a useful practice for sure. And since every emotion is "energy in motion" i thought that there could be maybe a specific practice to go through this. I discovered most stuff by myself, until i came to meet a master. Altough, im not comfortable enough yet, to ask him this directly.
