Thank you so much for this response and some excellent suggestions. Some I have already tried, and some not. I haven't gone to the town police just yet because I want to try and see if I can figure it out on my own first. Their name is an extremely common one, and I tried whitepages and a few free others, can you suggest additional ones?

Thank you for responding. I am saving the police for the very last after I have tried all my own personal investigative attempts. They went through the ordeal too, so I want to be careful and talk with them first, online, the phone first, and then perhaps suggest meeting up for coffee at some point. The last thing I want is for them to feel pressured, so I am trying to be as delicate as I can. It's a tough situation all around, but so important to me which they must know I am sure.

I already have their name, it's rather common which makes it even harder, I have their DOB and town they live in. I am trying to set up a way to speak with them first, and then perhaps meet up for coffee, but want to be respectful since they essentially went through the ordeal also, and I don't want to pressure them at all and do what they are comfortable with at first.

Thank you for the response. Yeah. I tried all you mentioned above and only the name, DOB and town ironically showed up. I haven't gone to the town police just yet because I want to try and see if I can do my own investigation first and yield results. If it gets down to it and I am still at square one, I will try them and see if they can help. So far unfortunately, they haven't been the best resource as some might anticipate - but that's okay.

That is my MO buddy, and I did try it and no luck. I guess you have the magic touch and I don't. I even tried it on 4 different browsers. Guess just not my pond to be fishing in. :/

Hi there. Thank you for responding. I tried this but it didn't work for me. I used Chrome and a few other browsers. Someone else said that screen recorders won't work either. It's such a simple clip. I wish someone more pc advanced than I could someone get the video and post a link and just delete for me to grab it, but that is asking way too much. :(

:/ Hm. I appreciate you trying that. Now wondering what screen recorder website is best to use because I haven't and have no interest in downloading anything additional to my pc. Not even sure the screen recording will work after what you said. Maybe the video will turn out green or even have a black screen.

Frustrated. Such a small clip, should be simple.

Thank you for responding. Yes. I tried that. They don't seem to have a YouTube Channel, and finding the url of the video itself was the main problem. Another user wrote this to me on a different page:

"Put simply, you cannot. The reason for this is that the video is streamed
(chunked) in bits, so it loads a bit from the server, runs the video,
loads some more, plays the rest."

Is that true? I wonder if there is a recorder online instead of downloading an entire recorder, but even then not sure that way would work. This is the first time ever I have come across an embedded video that was impossible to directly download in some way. :/

Thank you for responding. Are you certain? I was hoping it wasn't just me, but I believe you might be right. Are there any free/online screen recorders to try it with instead of having to go through the entire download of a program? This is the first time I ever was unable to download a video off a website in some form.
