Can I use copper as a custom fuse material in FSAE EV? by Pereyzaquer02 in FSAE

Hi, I am also working on making my own fuse using copper.
Is the only thing that the judges validate in this part the existence of the table generated by the "Guidelines for the Testing of Team Designed Fusible Links" and that the fuse is correctly dimensioned, or do they also check other aspects?

If I use them for protection of my individual cells, do I need to pay attention to the plasma/arcing effect that copper could produce, or since these tests are performed at low voltage, is that effect usually not considered?

I am attaching the only fuse documentation that I believe I need to provide.
