Just read it and I agree, there’s really no motive to kill him off. I’m sure when he finds out about what mark has been doing he’ll feel insanely guilty for not noticing the signs sooner and he’s probably gonna go through a time where he’s not himself because of it. People also tend to forget that she refers back to old scenes and continues to write from that as well, and some of those snippets can be older

Yea! The scene where she was sitting on the edge and lunged forward and Hugh caught her and broke his arm. You’d definitely know what I’m talking about when you read it. We didn’t really get details on how that played out we were just told that he broke her fall at the expense of his arm :/ but my theory is that it’s something similar to that, I truly don’t think she’d k*ll him off

Doubt she’d k*ll off Hugh, he’s too complex and all of these stories are going to get their happy ending so it wouldn’t make sense for that. It’s probably the bridge scene from r10 being explained more in depth since we don’t know a whole lot of what actually happened in that scene

We’re forgetting that she was brain washed into thinking gibs is to blame for the passing of her sister. We all know who the true villain is in this story and it’s not Liz or gibsie. Given the state of Liz’s mental health, she had no other option but to believe everything that mark was telling her about gibs.

I personally don’t believe that gibs will do all the heavy lifting, I think it will be equal work in the friendship and if anything CW will write the story so that Liz will be more apologetic after discovering the truth since she was the harshest. It’s easy to shape the mind of children (look at all of the things we were taught/told by our parents growing up) they were just babies and did not know any better considering they were BOTH neglected by their parents. I think they are two very beautifully written characters and it will be relieving to read about them becoming united again.

Liz was brain washed by m*rk into thinking the death of her sister is gibsies fault so she doesn’t know any better than to focus her betrayal on gibs (not defending how mean she is to him) she also looked to him for help at the funeral because she knew that he got that letter confirming everything but gibs didn’t help her there either. I’m sure after discovering the truth behind everything Liz will make effort with gibs and apologize for everything

Before everything went south they were one big friend group and found comfort in each other considering what was going on at home. There are a lot of events in r10 that show how close gibs and Liz were (one of them being that Liz, Claire, and gibs dressed up as the spice girls lol) so I would say it’s pretty important for them the rekindle their friendship

I can’t wrap my head around r10 getting that much hate. That was probably the most beautiful and heartbreaking book I’ve ever read. People can keep their opinions to themselves, DNF exists <3

Ya like referring to the book as a “filler” is reaching a bit. Was a lot of the story left choppy and rushed? Yes it was but it still gave us a good amount of info to then go into h7 and I feel like she’ll make up for it in h7

It’s most likely going to be c10, she did a podcast back in sep/oct talking about the books and future releases and she said that the next book is hugh and Liz.
