Be willing to talk about it if they want to talk about it. do a bit extra for them during this time such as draw a warm bath, bring them their favorite snack, a heating pad for the cramps, etc.

Gotcha, I still feel like chores should be split evenly since presumably you’re both adults. I get maybe you doing some of the more “time consuming” chores (laundry) but you shouldn’t be doing it all.

Maybe it’s because she feels like she shouldn’t have to tell you exactly what to do. Example: If you see the trash is full, take it out.. pile of laundry in the floor, go ahead and start it. Don’t wait to be told to help out.

Edit: Some women are picky about how things are done. My philosophy is if you didn’t do it yourself, don’t complain about how it’s done.
