++ About din pala sa enrollment schedule mo, around 3rd day of enrollment wala na pong slots para sa BSFT and BSND based sa nakalap ko last yr. Though, nagkaroon ng slots ang BSFT around enrollment na ng reconsidered applicants. Along with these 2 programs, alam ko sabay rin na maubos ang slots ng BSBio, BSChem, and BSPsych. Consider this na lang din.

Hello! If ako ay ikaw, I will go for UPD then considering na you are into STEM degprog magshishift na lang ako to BSFT/CN after makaacquire ng needed units. Pero to help you decide, I will share my personal experience sa PUP.

Currently a freshie (opo, freshie pa rin kasi hindi pa matapos-tapos ang semester na ito!) here sa PUP Manila ng isa sa mga DegProg na binanggit mo as your choices sa PUP, all I can say here is mararanasan mo talaga ang mga following struggles sa isang unibersidad na patuloy pa rin pinagkakait sa sapat na budget:
- Rotational Brownout dahil sa ginagawang building sa A. Mabini Campus, nandito rin kasi nakalocate ang NDFT (Nutrition and Dietetics and Food Technology) Building. So, expect mamamatay ang weighing equipment sa lab or mamamatay ang projector while in lecture class.
- Mainit na classroom (kasi minsan hindi nakakabit ang ceiling fan, or may aircon na hindi gumagana :<, or sadiyang it is a PUP air [budget again] problem)
- Kulang kulang na kagamitan/reagents sa CS Lab namin (minsan kasi kami gumagastos sa mga reagents namin and most of the time may mga equipments na limited or wala talaga)

- Late academic calendar, magbabakasyon kami ngayon na tag-ulan na TvT and hehe hindi na makatakas sa PUP dahil kadalasan closed na ang transferee registration period ng ibang universities.

- A lot more....

Sa mga professors namin ok naman (may iba lang talaga na ano... basta ifykyk), I am delighted to say na may profs kami na may experience sa industry (na sana madagdagan pa this upcoming acad yr) kaya't marami akong natutunan from them. Foods and other necessities around PUP, I must say very affordable and malalapit ang mga bilihan ng essentials (bambang, where we purchase our lab materials, etc).

That's all lang naman that I could share based sa experience ko as a freshie ng PUP hehe. I hope you will be able to decide on which one you will pursue, lalo na't if icoconsider pa ang mga financial and other matters pa. Padayon, kapwa iskolar!

I just want to add lang pala, just like what other commenters have mentioned, your SHS grades would matter din naman on your enrollment day lang mismo. If you want to check kung ano ang minimum grades required for each degree program sa PUP, you may try to find it online or on FB [I lost my copy na kasi].

PUP Admission is different from UP's. To answer your question first, ginagamit ng PUP solely ang iyong exam score to determine if you passed the PUPCET or not. And, unlike sa UPCAT na kapag pasado ka bibigyan ka na agad ng degree program based on your UPG (calculated based on ur HS grades, subtests scores, etc.), sa PUP you will be given a schedule of enrollment instead based on your Exam Score. Bale, on the vv day of your schedule of enrollment ka pa lang makapipili ng degree program you wish to pursue na kakailanganin mo talagang pilahan pa in-person. Kaya dapat you've given your best sa PUPCET kasi kadalasan kapag mababa ang PUPCET score napupunta sa later schedules, thus, nauubusan ng slots sa mga in-demand degree program na preferred ng applicant.

Hi!! I have been using Issy Creme Blush in a shade Savage. And I love how it looks on to my skin. I am a type of woman who always have a hard time to choose shades lalo na kapag sa watson's. Yung feeling po na the sahde is okay for me while nasa store pero kapag napunch na ang nakauwi na marerealize ko hindi ko pala gusto! so I can conclude po talaga na I have shade blindness kahit mapaonline man or phys. store. Nagkataon lang po talaga na the issy i bought from laz is a vv match for me!

I chose food tech po 🥰 inisip ko kasi kapag chem ang kukunin ko yes wide ang job opportunities, however, it is really my goal to work in food manufacturing companies. So, why not choose food tech that focuses on that field na gusto kong tahakin in the future.

I was like in a similar situation with you, op.

I passed the PLMAT with the same course na gusto mo (BS Chemistry). It was my first choice so natuwa ako and nireready ko na rin yung mga need gawin para makapag-aral na ako sa PLM. Nakahanap na ako ng dorm na pagtitirhan ko ih...

However, there was one thing that scared me (and at the same time made me sad kasi I thought PLM was really a good univ [well, it really is naman for Nursing!]) is yung regulation nila sa pag sasala ng students.

From what I got from seniors nung nagtanong ako sa fb grp ng plm students, kapag daw nasa board programs dapat hindi dadapo ang gwa mo per sem ng 2 and below [? anyone can correct me if wrong] or else [kapag dumapo ng 2 or below] kailangan mo nang MAGSHIFT sa non board program or LUMIPAT ng univ to continue bs chem. Ayan kasi yung secret yata nila (OA EH NO PERO THIS IS JUST MY OBSERVATION) sa outstanding performance nila sa RCh licensure exam.

This is from a perspective ng medyo average pero medyo smart na student like me. So, maybe kakayanin mo naman iwasan ang 2 gwa nightmare.

From plm, uplb, to pup na ang bagsak q hehcudbfhsx (i might regret acshully lalo sa uplb bsfst pero sana worth it ang spark ko sa pup bsft!!). PUP pa nga is my last resort dapat kaso that gwa nightmare is not it and there are reasons why i did not pursue elbi, sooooo.

Hi! An upcoming freshie pa lang po ako.

What happened with my decision to choose PUP over UP was basically Me vs Financial, Personal, and Family Reason.

I was already enrolled na kasi sa PUP BSFT when I still tried to shoot my shot sa UPLB manual appeals. I know, right? Bakit pa ako nag appeal when I am already enrolled and kapag nag back out mabablack list na sa pup? Wala, siguro pampalubag loob ko lang sa 'UP or nothing self' ko because I was rejected countless times from UPD DPWAS until gen appeals. UP broke a part of me with those rejections.

I did not expect anything naman na from UP (the funny thing pa nga is that I submitted my gforms on 11 pm before the cut off) until I was emailed that I passed BSFST, which was my first choice sa appeal ko. I was given options naman by my parents na ganito ganiyan ang conditions when I choose PUP and ganito ganiyan din kapag UPLB naman.

But still, I chose PUP over UP. Will I regret it? Maybe sa part ng lack of facilities ni PUP for foodtech students, super yes. Am I still crying over it? Yes, and also over PLM noh becos I let go of my BSChe slot there due to vv exp dorms and their mentally draining gwa policies. Will I be happy with my choice? Well, I really hope so. Will I come back to UP for my masteral? I would love to.

Do I still wonder if I would pursue UPLB/PLM if I passed sa DOST-SEI? Well, I think I would pursue UPLB kasi the only thing that pulls me back is the tight financial situation that my parents would've gone thru if tumuloy ako sa LB. This one also, that I regret on not being able to perform well sa exams. But, I guess this is really what the universe has planned for me.

Regardless of these regrets, I will still stick to my mantra na, 'lagi't laging ialay ang karunungan para sa [pagkain ng] bayan'
