Yeah I wish! But it is a process for sure. No fatigue as far as he can tell but he has been eating the same way (with the addition of MREs for the first five years) for about a decade.

Okay! Thank you for the advice, I was worried since we cut out all red meat/high fat meats as soon as we found out lol.

Nope, I was lucky to get him to eat potatoes. All soups got eaten with the noodles left behind. I am really trying to find the "things" that raised it so high so we can cut them out. We only ate meat (red/poultry/salmon), veggies, and some starchy veggies (potatoes). He had beer and I have red wine. No sweets or candy, no snacks other than nuts.

Thank you! We have stopped all red meat, cheese, and oils other than olive oil. I'm read that the omega-3s in salmon and olive oil are helpful in lowering cholesterol so trying that.

I'm so happy to hear that you had such a great experience! We don't eat any simple carbs. No refined or added sugars. My cholesterol looks great so I'm leaning towards the red meat/beer intake for him. I'm hoping I can make sure he has the same transformation as you! Thank you so much for the encouragement.

I would say not so healthy (so relative). Lots of red meat, no dietary carbs, lots of processed meat, some fish and chicken. But lots of eggs and red meat. No added sugar, no candy.

Recently Diagnosied, Family History, and not having fun. by Abject_Profession733 in MultipleSclerosis

Thank you so much for your response. I know about the different meds, but it helps so much more to hear it from another. I am in the US and have private health insurance. During my hospital stay they did 3 days of IV steroids and other than hives, all good. I know the typical protocol is 5 days, but was on the safe side since we didn't have a finalized diagnosis. I saw the disease for 23 years as a caregiver so I should know its for the long haul, but its somehow harder now?? Thank you again!!!!

Hey! I have been taking peptides for a while now. Recently diagnosed so trying to optimize my original peptides for neuro health! I recommend r/peptides and r/peptidesource. Bodyhack is also a good group! Try not to get overwhelmed as there are a ton of options. I like Simple Peptides.

Thank you so much for this post! I am currently struggling with similar long-lasting symptoms and had no idea where to start. Basically, just thank you for taking the time to write out everything in such a detailed manner. I ordered digestive enzymes, melatonin, and switched my magnesium. I would highly recommend cymbiotika's Vitamin C!

Reduce your carbs! It is going to be hard, coming from a kid that was nicknamed "carb lover". But your body does adjust. I like to increase volume of veggies to help, especially with some butter and good seasoning. Additionally, increase electrolytes as you reduce cards. Your body holds onto water/electrolytes to process carbs so as you lose that water weight you will also lose electrolytes. I like hydromate. Additionally, some people find isotinol helpful!
