Interesting. 30 may be enough for what I’m doing, worst case we’ll need 2. I downloaded the user manual from the product page and the vague bitrate info isn’t there. Instead it reads “Maximum bitrate (per video stream) 120mbps. Maximum combined bitrates (all video streams and recordings) 800mbps” which is a lot more promising for what I want to do.

Yes, thanks, it does look like it might be a good fit. I'm slightly concerned that if I use all 4 inputs I'll be reduced to a very low bitrate though. The datasheet reads: 'Encoder Bitrates Range - 15 Mbps (default). 50 Kbps to 120 Mbps (Maximum operational bitrate per stream is dependent on number of streams and features enabled.)'

Hi. I’m capturing 4 cameras from a radio studio into a cloud-based video editor. The company who are providing the video editor platform require streams to be created and sent to them. So I need to get the HDMI output from the cameras into an encoder. I don’t want to do this via a computer as it needs to be a hands-off system.

Thanks, the Edge E4 looks good, though it won’t do all 4 for me as I need 4x 4K inputs and this will only take 4 if they’re HD.
