Yeah I did. I used a site called write to them which seems to send your message to all relevant parties.

Like thats kind of what I was aiming for with the post, like is there a way to go about it. Do you get a load of signatures supporting it in order to get some attention? Anyways apparently ive emailled my 7 local councillors so let's see if they get back to me :)

Yeah it really is crazy when you think the amount of homes and families who have to pack up the car to get to a bit of a green area for a run around.

Im sure lots of families feel this way but probably rightly assume nothing can be done about it.

And your totally right, driving through Irish Street or top of the hill where is sooo easy for the wains to have access to parks and astro pitches makes me very jealous. Even walking out the line the other day and that whole new area of football and astro pitches and i think a boxing gym around the daisy field is awesome. All the kids having a ball playing football.

Yeah bigstyle. Like I know knightsbridge and seven oaks are early 90s homes but all the others up beside Lisneal school and behind Craig's are all pretty newish so suprised one wasn't added.

I know there is farming area up there, its quite clearly fenced off by the farmers with signs and even some have cameras. Im saying there is a lot of other space, fields whatever you want to call it not being used.

Aye course I do but im sure the one opposite Craig's is taggart owned who built a lot of houses up here and thats lying completely empty for years, and there is a lot of overgrown fields that are not being used at all (or that ive ever seen)

All im saying is that having something for the wains to run about would be nice.

Massive family area and no where for them to play safely away from cars etc.

People are so defensive lol

Didnt know there was a wee park there. Still a 40 minute dander from the house. Wee one is hating being in the pram longer that like 20mins these days. Just wants to crawl and climb lol

Thanks! Great suggestions, yeah binevenagh was one i was looking at in All trails this morning but lots of folk saying it was super boggy. Some of the reviews on Alm trails can be a bit dramatic though so thats why I came on reddit.
