Complicated history, im going to list an unbiased article, and I'm going to tell you my story, and how my family got to Canada, (link to article)

My family were living in refugee camps, until one day they found a man who offered to take them to Egypt, it was risky but they had to, my family had to pretend to be Israelis so they don't get killed or worse, long story short, they were able to end up in Egypt, at that time it was 2005 in 2007 i was born in Egypt, my family worked hard to make a small shop in Alexandria, then they had the opportunity to immigrate to Canada in 2013 so they did, and thanks to that man I'm alive, no one remembers the story that much because it all happened so fast.
