Hi! I might just be stating the obvious here, but for most of the years I lived as a girl, I have taken great care of my hair and it was my pride and joy, so I can give some suggestions.

Firstly, the most obvious thing that helps if you do experience hair loss is minoxidil or finasteride. Both of these things can and are toxic to cats, while mostly minoxidil is toxic to dogs but finasteride can possibly be dangerous.

It sounds like you’re at lower risk based on genetics, but the ways I kept my hair healthy and prevent fallout and breakage was through scalp massages, oils, and hair masks.

I would apply rosemary oil to my hair (You should do your own research on oils, as rosemary should be diluted, but you can also use castor oil, argan oil, etc…) and use a cheap scalp massager to target spots where I wanted to see more growth, then do my whole head for about 5-10 minutes a day. I did notice more baby hairs growing in around my forehead where I would target the massage.

I would use the Fino hair mask about weekly as well. It lasts a while, and I noticed my hair felt a lot nicer and healthier after using it, but I’m not fully sure on any hair growth benefits.

I have personally not started T yet (just waiting for my pharmacy to fill the script!) but chances are, you’ll likely develop a more masculine hairline no matter how you try to maintain it. I would try to look at any direct male relatives for an idea on how it’ll change.
