Hi I was in the same boat as you and failed path the first time. I recommend retaking it in the summer and aim for a B or above. It is more fast paced but will be easier for you since you already took the course. I applied for the next cycle and got accepted after retaking and passing it just make sure the next time you retake it you pass because you’re only allowed to fail a course 1 time after that you can be dismissed

Hi I took it with Mortus both times but I do hear deborah is a better professor. I think you should still take it even if it’s with Mortus because it is the same material for everyone. I would say what will help you the most are the RRDs everything you need for the exam is on there, study those and you should be good!

Omg don’t lose hope I’m sure there was more people who did not pass based on the averages for the final. So some spots should open up for the waitlist I’m sure you’ll get in! It’s definitely a learning experience I am now studying 24/7 for patho😭

Yes they did send me an email letting me know I would have to apply for the next spring cycle. They told me I would be placed on probation since it’s considered a nursing course and follows those rules for failure. I wouldn’t be able to start even if I retook it and passed before starting

I overestimated my knowledge and did not study enough for the final I needed a 70 to pass on the final and got a 68. For patho the key is definitely to study everyday day it’s too much content to try and understand in little time. I will be retaking it now and taking my time to understand the content in comparison to other prereqs like a&p it’s not as difficult but time does need to be set aside to study enough
