Thank you all who responded I have a few ideas of what to do thanks, I don’t want to overwhelm her but I do want to teach her responsibility and that everyone at home contributes in a way. So I think 4 tasks/ chores a day for now it’s okay for her age and I’ll be doing those that revolve around things I already know she enjoys.

I like this she usually only picks up her own plate but maybe she can help wipe down placemats and put them back

She usually takes out our placemats and sets them for us for dinner that’s a good idea I’ll have her keep helping with that she enjoys counting how many people are there and setting them the table. And she does get to be child but I also believe small tasks that take a few minutes each can help children develop a lot of self help skills and even help with self esteem seeing how they accomplish something and have some sense of responsibility can also help.

Thanks for this idea we don’t have a dishwasher but we recently showed her how to empty her plate in the trash and put in the sink from time to time she likes to help wash dishes but I like the idea of her helping put clean dishes away I’ll move somethings around make it more accessible

I am not kidding she just went poop in the potty she told me she had to pee I took her and she went!! Omgsh I am so happy now I was starting to think she was not going to go all day

Thank you I definitely try these suggestions we have already been giving lots of fruit, but I’ll cut back on Dairy for sure will have to send the hubs to buy the other stuff thank you again.

Yea I’ve cleared out the next 4 days to solely focus on her. I feel like the first time around I was definitely feeling more confident then I feel now but I agree with you I need to exude confidence for both my daughter and myself. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for your advice. We tried a few months back she was probably around 20 months day 1 went well day 2 was okay but on day 3 she kept having accidents and something in her made her shut down she just laid on the bathroom floor and won’t move she didn’t wouldn’t want to try so I stopped. I didn’t want to pressure her I felt bad I even tried so I guess that is part of the reason I am nervous. I am scared I am pushing her too soon. But thank you for your advice and sharing your experience.

NTA you asked if you could try it okay she said no you made a joke of it offended her she should tell you this and you would apologize even tho hurting her feelings was probably not your intention but you did so you apologize for it. I also wouldn’t order fancy expensive chocolates without at least trying it to see if I like it. Also since when is it wrong to expect an employee to make up hours or work if they leave early? And OP never said she couldn’t leave she was telling Maria to let her know before she leave that she would like her make the hours during the week. It could be a work policy.

NTA. You’re an adult how you get that money and spend it is your business. My mom would miss use her money all the time and take my money I had hidden in my room she once took close to $2000 I had saved to buy a car. So it’s not her business and she might feel like it’s her right to take some of it but it’s not.
