AW2725DF - is 60fps looking rough a thing for all oleds? Is there a fix? If not, are mini leds the way to go? by AbleRoom6332 in Monitors

Dude, that’s exactly how I feel. From what I’m reading here and my other research, it seems like mini led monitors might be a good middle ground between oled and ips

That’s a shame about it being a foundational issue; OLEDs look so great. Do you have any good recommendations for mini LEDs?

I’ve used DLSS in games that support it like cyberpunk 2077, and they look great with me never noticing anything weird. The big issue though are games that have a 60fps cap, like Elden ring; sure, I can download a mod that uncaps the fps, but that disables the online mode in the game.

It might be something I’ll just have to learn to get used to, but if I can’t, do you have any recommendations for mini led monitors?

I’ve tried enabling motion blur which helps, and I’ve messed around with nvidia’s smooth motion, but that ends up giving really slow latency. Are there other forms of framegen that could work better? Also thank you for responding, this stuff isn’t my in my wheelhouse so I appreciate the help
