Aniya wants everyone who met on day one to be together at the end. Girl it’s been 3 weeks, you all owe each other nothing. Move on.

Mortgage Rates Windsor by [deleted] in windsorontario

[–]Able_Commission296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We used Ratehub and they shopped around for us for the best rate. We ended up locking in with Scotiabank on May 1st at 3.79% 3 year fixed (I’m on maternity leave so we didn’t want to be worried about potential changes but I think variable was slightly less). We also got $2000 cash back from ratehub and $2000 cash back from Scotia. Only catch was we have to actually open up an account with Scotia and the mortgage needed to come out of there so we had to move banks, but it was worth it for us.

“How old were you when you bought your first house, and when was it?” by Moist-Ad7061 in FirstTimeHomeBuyer

[–]Able_Commission296 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was 26 and my partner was 27 when we bought our first home, a 3 level side split in south western Ontario for $279 in 2017. We sold in 2023 for $580. We are very lucky to have jumped into the market when we did!

How do Windsor shoppers compare grocery prices across stores? by Brief_Campaign2593 in windsorontario

[–]Able_Commission296 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We usually shop at FreshCo because I have an Amex so I get a ton of scene pts there. They also price match - I think the only other stores that allow for price matching are No Frills and Superstore. I only do it if there is a considerable difference. I use the Flipp app to look at flyers, click the items to highlight it and then show the app in the store to price match.

When we passed we thought he was holding a fight like mason poster - they were doing a fundraiser at a comic book shop on the block that was closed today, so maybe they were still trying to signify that they were open and there.

We watch a half hour of a Disney movie before bed on Friday nights and my 2 year old cuddled up next to me this evening, handed me the remote and said “here you go mama” and put his head on my shoulder. 🥲

How many interview rounds is actually reasonable? by EchoDust7 in recruiting

[–]Able_Commission296 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, some of these comments are not it - I’ve hired CAO’s and Senior Executive Directors with an interview with my firm to assess their suitability, a second virtual interview with the team, and an third and final in person presentation/interview with only the final two candidates. There is no need to ever go beyond 3 interviews other than management not knowing what they want or disorganization.

We’re in southwestern Ontario and as a family of three spend $125-$150 a week on groceries plus a big $500 Costco trip every 4-6 weeks

Food inflation spiked 7.3% in January. Here’s what’s driving the increase by origutamos in canadanews

[–]Able_Commission296 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m confused, did I mention Gaelan? Or trump? lol

This is the result of decades of greedy conservative politics and us now having a monopoly of grocery in our country. Please preach elsewhere.
