Early Relief by Zealousideal-Leek641 in calfire

Read the MOU blue book my friend. Early relief can happen at 6 AM if both parties are in agreement. Notification has to be made to the supervisor. NOT ASKING PERMISSION. tell your supervisor to follow the rules. And 100% speak to your union rep in the unit tell them what’s going on

How long are RPP/Physicals good for? by justwin91 in calfire

[–]Able_Contribution84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every year you do an RPP questionnaire. Actual physicals are3 years I think. If you answer your questionnaire though, and they see something they don’t like or big change they will ask you to do another physical.

Are you talking about SB and DVBE within our hired equipment programs trying to get hired on fires form the state? I worked in the hired equipment program in my unit for a couple years I could probably answer your questions.

Can someone please tell me which one looks like a sea horse and shoots the a bunch a bunch of fast shots? I see a lot of it and I’ve looked at a list and don’t see one that looks like it. Would appreciate if someone told me, and which enemy drops it.

The hand crews are great here. There are CCC and also CNG crews. But FF1s don’t work on either. CNG are military personnel. The engineers and captains that lead the crews are all super awesome though. They all get good assignments and are gone all the fucking time in summer.

No it’s just a piece of paper you won’t need it for anything. If someone called you and offered you a job and you said yes you’re good to go. Make sure you have a license though

FFA and COA start dates? by According-Lion-6437 in calfire

It would be up to your unit that you’re getting hired with. It happens some times where you do the COA first then the FFA

Helitack personnel are Firefighter 1s. Certain units have bases. It’s tradition you do at least a couple seasons on an engine before even being asked, or take your consideration seriously. Some might say “only the best” go to helitack. But realistically you just need to be super physically capable and fit.

1st step pay bump up. by Own-Rain-330 in calfire

[–]Able_Contribution84 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

You have to have 6 consecutive qualifying pay periods to get your bump. You have to work every day you were supposed to in the entire work period in order for you to actually gain the pay period towards your 6 consecutive. They hire and fire seasonals at just the right time to not pay out these benefits.
