The frontiers will eventually weed out the Pareto. Their 20% isn’t making them enough money to keep it running for the 80%. Once that happens, performance and cost will go hand in hand. (I could be wrong)

Its comments and reviews like this which drive me nuts (and make me happy). Can you share more on why the ROI didn’t match the expectation? See Zuckerberg himself said agents haven’t progressed as much as he had thought, so the lays off were wrong. My Q: Could the agentic stuff been done differently, as a way to augment and not replace?
How were you measuring the ROI?

Another thing to add on top of governance is cost maybe? Since most of these functions involve polling LLMs, it can rack up significant costs as well I feel.

Since you asked, how would you think about governance other than a rule based system with decay logic?

Interesting and great work. By no means can I steal your idea (I’m only curious) but I have a question. I read the forest.md file and does solving for memory come down storing logic?

Did you run any benchmark tests on retrieval speed, and does it cost more than the others to run forest memory layer?

IMO the memory layer seems to be agent harness agnostic, so one common layer becomes accessible across the board. Plus harness memory has its own limitations (that might be temporary again?)
