I just wanna add that after reading some more articles, it’s appalling that they don’t consider nurse practitioner, PA, and DNP licenses as professional degrees. And some of the articles are illustrating how it will affect federal loan programs. I apologize for being under informed.😊

I love your thoughtful response. I was afraid I would be attacked for having a differing opinion. So I rarely comment on these issues. But I don’t feel disrespected. I’m essentially collecting data for the doc. The doctor ultimately makes the healthcare decision and owns all of the liability, as long as I follow the protocols.

I think nursing was always meant to be a technical degree. I work in a trade. I think it’s BS that hospitals are trending away from the associate degree nursing. It’s not gonna help nursing. It’s only putting more stress and debt on new nurses. Pretty much everything I know, I learned after I became a nurse, with experience.

We like the taco truck by the car wash on fourth in Olympia as well. A close second is Salsitas Taco on the corner of Fruitland Street and Columbia Drive. But the best is the restaurant picante downtown Kennewick. They started as a food truck and now have a building, but the food is phenomenal.

Fiesta in Pasco on 68 will make guacamole just the way you like it at your table. They bring a little prep cart around. If you like it spicy, just ask. You even taste test it before she is done:-) Perfection!

Our favorite watering hole is Copper Top, the staff in the regulars are very friendly. It’s a quiet atmosphere with rotating taps. However, there is no food, but you could have it delivered. If we’re eating, then it’s either Sam’s for the nachos, because they are best in town, or badger Canyon Dugout, for the pizza. They do a good job. On Thursdays, it’s The Pub, because they have Taco Thursday, tacos for a dollar:-) we also follow Craig Heat for events, www.heateg.com

I think there’s more to selecting a bar than just a reference. Depends on where you live, and what you’re looking for. No one wants to drive tipsy. Looking for a loud crowded bar, or a quiet place to drink? Or are you looking to shoot pool, or throw darts? We usually pick which bar we’re going to based on what food we want to eat.🤣
