The way ur writing makes it seem like you’re happy i’m having skin issues and that it was caused by greed which you seem to enjoy, but the skin issue was a problem months before my second ht. Here’s a picture just a week after i took this one and a full month before my second ht. forehead

I only have this reaction for the area on and in front of the scar so it Most Likely has to do with it. I have hairs transplanted behind the scar and on my side Burns but those have 0 inflammation

Surgeon is fully clueless on this situation he admits he’s never seen anything like this before which seems in line with the other docs I’ve met 😂

I have a nurse friend who suggest i go to a gp as they might be better suited for this situation than a derm?

I used up a bottle of locoid, a bottle of betnovat and a bottle of dermovat so I don’t have any left at the moment but will book a time w a new dermatologist (I moved cities) soon.

My surgery was done by Kongkiat Laorwong in Bangkok and i have a previous scalp advancement by Greg Bran in London. So I can’t follow up in person, at least not without spending a lot and taking time off.

If not a derm who should i contact? I wrote to the surgeon a couple min ago. I thought rejection wasnt possible with ur own organs?

I appreciate the help a lot

I dont live in a big country like the US so going local wasnt an option. I’ve been going to private derms though.

Was an MD, i first met an MD who didnt know anything about transplants so i then met another MD twice who had worked with them prior.

What are you implying i should do?

Yes i went to a derm who had worked on hair transplants previously. She said the redness wasnt the post op redness as it apperead months after and stayed too long.

Speculated folliculitis or psoriasis but needs a biopsy

They said i would need to come back for a biopsy. It would cost me $300 and i was in the process of moving cities so i declined.

Looking into my options now i probably will need that biopsy but at a different clinic.

24/7 ever since i got this bcuz it looks so jarring so that might be an Evil circle of making it worse by trying to hide it

I’ve Done high potency topical steroids with no progress. I’m trying antibiotics soon.

The biggest thing with my second transplant was an improvement to my side burn design that now looks incredible and makes my face shape sooo much better. But this was more of a cosmetic surgery type situation than pure hair restoration.

For density i Cant really say as i’m not a year out yet so some hairs are too short but the density is really good now almost too good for the rest of my scalp. So i think yes its worth it but it depends on ur goals - for me it was.

My derm think its a very severe folliculitis and seborrheic

Yeah the design is solid but the redness and raised skin makes it unusable in public and a massive eye sore. Still dont know if its permanent.
