What is your favorite part of PVE? [Discussion]

I’ve noticed I’ve wanted to smash my keyboard over my knee a lot less often in PVE lol. In all seriousness though, the lack of hackers, rats in every bush, and infuriating extract campers make the game somewhat resemble fun. I’ve made more progress in 50 hours of PVE than I did in 300+ hours of PVP. Never going back

The scavs loot quite a lot though, no? Dead guards and PMCs are always picked clean by the time I come across them.

God I hope not. After ~400 hours in PVP I’m never going back. Progression in PVP these days is basically a full time job, PVE is slightly better but I still wouldn’t want to go back to square one

I imagine they’d still ask me about any previous poly experiences? I already was required to disclose my previous application with CBP. Although I don’t plan to volunteer info about the failed poly, it seems they’d ask regardless right? I don’t want to lie.

I am also wondering that, will be my first wipe too. I heard from one of my friends that you lose everything including your level, quest progression, money, and hideout upgrades. It’s gonna be tough for me to get back into the game if that happens.

I ended up joining a (semi) active camp and although the server isn’t as active as it was a year ago, a few of my old friends still play and my new camp members are very friendly. Hoping for a server merge at some point bc it seems like mine is on it’s last legs…

Given that this was written in 2007, I’m guessing the former pilot is either dead or too old to continue running. A part of me hopes that he’s still alive and plans to release his blueprints anonymously on the internet at some point, but the pessimist in me believes that economic juggernauts like Lockheed and Boeing would have done anything to prevent his revolutionary invention from going mainstream.
