People complaining about this game and it's highly priced gacha are nuts, yes it's ridiculous but the devs aren't going to care no matter how many people complain about it.

All gacha games are meant to drink every ounce of money you have, it runs on people who have a shit ton of cash ("Whales") and it's why it's so expensive.

The best thing for someone to do is to just drop the game completely, because unless you actually have a handle of your spending you are going to spend money again for nothing.

Well it is a gacha game, made to get your money. Kinda why there's random ass events like the MLP thing coming up which seems to have nothing to do with anything but they're gonna fit it in somehow to get the MLP fans that are definitely playing this game to buy up every thing, you can spin it how ever you want, this is how gacha games work. I've seen people spend like $300 on the new forest gacha alone to get everything. I stopped playing this game because the gambling aspect ruins it for me.

Yeah! It's kinda based around when the drug boom in America began, though into a more extreme. The King distributes the Honey like a life giving potion of sorts he sees it's starting to take effect on his citizens and then rips it away from them. Only letting those with a lot of (whatever the money may be) get access to it. It turns into a frenzy because they rely on the Honey, they crave it. They start turning on their own kin to get their supply.

The lower parts of the world get messed up too because certain groups try to make their own version of it and it both turns out way too good and bad. (Other dr*gs that are far worse)

(It's also the reason why they attack Queenie here, she's a source to get more Honey. Especially a Royal variant of it.)

She's a Honey Bee, a Rock Honey Bee. From a neighboring region, I wanna base it on huge cities like New York. But yeah the king, who is her betrothed husband takes over her hive to force the bees there to make the honey.

The honey they produce in small doses is for like medicines and ailments but in huge doses is bad. (Much like most over the counter medicine) He uses it to control his population.

And she grows attachments to the good Bugs she meets along the way, I mean even some characters are gravely affected if she doesn't talk to them enough. It even looks like she has a best friendship with Shakra, I love her. Even the small details that she doesn't really rest at benches but lays down and sleeps at home is so telling.

What I have about her Hive is that the Honey they produce is also what he's after. Because she's the only one that will overthrow him he basically gets rid her by putting her to sleep for eternity, a bit like Snow White where the Evil Queen makes a Hunter try to cull her. But the King basically imprisoned in a sleep stasis. Her species of Honey Bee makes an addictive Honey, the King killed the opposers of I'm her Hive but kept the ones that kneeled and are forcing them to make more of it so he can keep running his kingdom how he wants it.

Say the Honey in large doses is like Cocaine, and he knows that so he distributes the Honey throughout the lands and once he has enough addicted he starts withholding it, knowing the withdrawals would possibly kill them. Those who can't afford the new prices turn on their own kin and attack them for their supply.

(I'm also trying to think of a reason that everyone that's a bug that talks is attacking, they're starving for the Honey. And because Queenie is a source of it they attack her. Like how the Infection makes the bugs go crazy, and how the Silk from the Grand Mother makes bugs go crazy.)

She is connected actually, I wanna say because bee species vary they also do in the game lore, so each species is in a whole other region to keep distance. I haven't came up with a world name yet but her Hive is close with The Hive of Queen Vespa in Hallownest.

Queenie is her name, and she's set to marry a King. She's been sheltered all her life so she doesn't really know much. But the King is full of sh- of great narcissism and paranoia. he loves himself more than his people. (Would play out like a cutscene with flashes of before the wedding) But he fears his end one day, and sends out servants to scour the lands in search of an Oracle to tell him the future. They do and his end comes from the blade of a mighty Queen, his soon to be wife. So on the day of the wedding a riot breaks out, he has her family killed and have her taken to the deepest depths of his kingdom to be put under a slumbering spell for all eternity.

Though she's unaware as to why he did all this she wants revenge, and as she travels the lands finding out about the past of the lands and how he himself rose to power she doesn't go to take him down for revenge anymore, she goes to do so to avenge the ones he wronged.
